Thinking Thoughts

 Most people I know live very close to a beach and never go. When I say never I mean never! Never have been and don't plan on going. I'm talking about adults 30+. They live 15 minutes away from at least 2 different beautiful beaches and never go! My goal is to do a bunch of tourist stuff around the city this summer and pretend I'm From somewhere else.

The summer time is a beautiful time in the city. The beaches, downtown, the parks & Gardens,... It's a beautiful city. The other part is the heat, the tourists, the traffic, the crime, crazy people... I can feel the summer time  creeping up.

Working and living in a city that attracts many tourists is fun and annoying at times. One of the fun things is that you know for certain that the city will be alive with activity and events every holiday and all summer. The bad part is dealing with a massive amount of tourists.  In the summer time I also realize how many rich people live in the city where I live. It's some rough neighborhoods, but even some of the rough neighborhoods or getting remodeled and rich people are moving in. If you lived in this area 10 years ago and haven't seen it in ten years, it's almost unrecognizable.Some things are the same but much has changed.
